Time Rack, Inc. headquartered in Corona, California is a leading provider of web based time clock solutions. It provides comprehensive solutions for managing hourly workforce for organizations in staffing, grocery, security, retail, manufacturing and distribution industries.  Armed with a thorough understanding of the frustrations of small to mid-size business users, Time Rack empowers clients with the same cutting edge technology as their larger counterparts, but without the massive price tag to go along with it.

The Challenge

Timerack's visionary team conceived an SaaS solution, when the term 'SaaS' was probably not even coined. The idea was to offer an exhaustive web based Time and Attendance solution for a low monthly fee. Software platform had to integrate with biometric clocking  devices for speedy punches, and was required to incorporate FLSA and state regulations for managing non exempt workforce. The need for the solution to work within multiple industries posed additional design challenges.
      

The Solution

Spectrum partnered with TimeRack at the product conception stage and its team worked closely with the founders in formulating the product road map and then designed and developed the entire software package. The shrink wrapped solution delivered by Spectrum has web based timecards, proactive alerts, pay calculations, labor scheduling and several enhanced features for managing large hourly work force. The software is designed to be flexible and configured by the end client as per specific requirements. The software is currently deployed at several companies in retail, warehousing and manufacturing industry.
      

The Technology

The web based platform is developed in ASP.NET as front end, SQL Server 2005 as back end database and Crystal Reports for MIS reports.
